Minecraft Hunt Series 4: THE WARDEN

WARDEN TRACE PHASE
Hunters were tasked with tracking down multiple traces of the Warden in order to find it's location. Two Villages/Parks housed the possible 10 Warden Traces. These are the amount and progression of Traces in each Village.

Italian Village: Como Park (Hard Route) - Kilmer Fireplace > Baseball field across from Wolf Lot. > Streetcar Station > Hamms Waterfall > Between Overlook and Duck Pointe > Bird Sanctuary. (6 Total Warden Traces)

Native American Village: Battle Creek Park (Easy Route) - Ski Jump > Bridge by Middle School >Stairs up from Point Douglas > Sledding hill by Rec Center. (4 Total Warden Traces) 

In this Choose Your Own Adventure Hunt hunters were faced with an event/scenario after each Warden Trace find. Hunters then had two choices to make, and depending on their choice, would lead them to their next Warden Trace in one of the two villages. It was possible to end this phase with only needing to find 4 Warden Traces

CRAFTING PHASE

After finding all Necessary Warden Traces, Steve from Minecraft HQ informed the hunters that he now knows where the Warden is but tells hunters they are not ready to face him, yet. Steve informs hunters that they will need to craft a Golden Apple, and tells these the materials needed: 1 Apple, 8 Gold Ingots. Steve then downloads a map to the hunters; it was a map of a trail system within a lost village (Lilydale Park). on this map is showed a pin of where a Craft Table was. Hunters would need to find the materials, then locate the Crafting Table, lay the materials on it in the correct order then send a picture to Steve to craft the Golden Apple. (In Minecraft Golden Apples give you a large health and stat boost)

BOSS PHASE:

Once the Golden Apple was crafted, Steve shared all the intel he had on the Wardens location with the hunters. This was the important part of the intel and the meaning behind them:

"It dwells within one of the highest elevations in the land of 7 mountains" = Highland Park is one of the highest elevations in the city of Saint Paul (city of 7 hills).

"The Warden has made its home within the mountain itself" = Highland Park is mentioned to be one of the 7 hills "mountains" of Saint Paul.

"Rests in an Ancient City long consumed by darkness" = Ancient City is a hint at Rome Ave, The Warden is hidden in line with this street. 

"To reach it you will need to descend into the Deep Dark" = to reach the Wardens hiding spot hunters will need to descend down the hill from the picnic pavilion area via staircase or trail.
 

"Pass by two monstrous peaks of solid Deepslate standing like ancient guardians before the entrance." = Before hunters descended into the Wardens location, you will notice the picnic shelter right by the staircase and trail are designed as two stone peaks (pyramids). Deepslate in Minecraft is a stone like material. 

"The entrance appears to lie north of a stone-like valley." = This is a reference to the stone like valley of Montreal Ave south of the Warden's location, below the Montreal Bridge.

EPILOGUE

  The hunt went the distance, and no one was able to slay the Waren in time. But right before time expired Steve from Minecraft HQ decided to take the Warden on himself head on! Steve was able to wound the Warden and bought the hunters an extra 24 hours of time. But in the battle, the Warden delivered a fatal blow to Steve, costing him his life......

Steve left one final transmission to hunters in case he didn't make it, Steve left a map to hunters showing a search zone and extra intel to help the hunters find the Warden, they had until 11:59 to slay him. Finally, in a last ditch effort Maddie Moody and the Notos Crew were able to slay the Warden at 11:20pm, saving the Minecraft Realm once and for all!

During this whole adventure Steve was also a teammate to all groups searching, Steve would often include himself in conversations, help solve clues to the Warden Traces, and crack jokes with the crews looking, Steve was really a part of the team! Around the 3rd stage of the Warden Trace Phase, Steve's radio he bought off Temu would start acting up, thus Steve lost connection to hunters and could not help or communicate. Throughout the rest of the hunt Steve would chime back in when he could and during the Boss Phase, he finally bought a better radio off Best Buy and finally had a solid connection with the teams again, until he had to give his life to help save everyone.....
